At La Prairie, our packaging guidelines equip creative and design teams to transform our products and reduce environmental impact. 

These guidelines focus on reducing the size and weight of our packaging, minimizing the number of layers used, and where possible using lower carbon materials. Next steps are to incorporate recycled content, improve component recyclability, where recycling infrastructure exists, and where applicable, provide refillable solutions.

As an example, we have refillable packaging available for 4 key products in the Pure Gold collection and for the Platinum Rare Haute-Rejuvenation Mask. Additionally, our recent product launches have also been designed to be lighter, use fewer materials and have improved recyclability. In select markets, we are piloting takeback recycling programs to promote in-store recycling initiatives, enabling clients to return their empty cosmetic containers for recycling or upcycling.
